If you’re anything like me when I was younger sleeping is just about the last thing you want to do. It wasn’t uncommon for me to only get 3-5 hours of sleep a night in high-school. I almost always paid for it by being groggy the next day but that’s what energy drinks are for right? (don’t drink energy drinks if you care even a little bit about your health) As it turns out sleep actually does quite a bit more for you than you might think; from helping retain knowledge, improving cognitive function, and even weight loss.
